The Bear Spot finishes each product three times with a unique blend of polyurethane and linseed oil.

How do I maintain my product at home

To maintain your product at home you will need to make sure your product is clean and dry before applying any finishes. We recommend applying one layer of linseed oil once a year to maintain a healthy look and letting it completely dry for at least 24 hours. If you desire a waterproof finish with shine then a thin layer of tung oil may also be used.

Where do you recommend I place my product?

We recommend keeping the product away from any kind of moisture prone areas. For example, any area prone to flooding can cause severe damage to the product. It is best to keep it in a cool and dry place to prevent excessive drying or cracking.
